Ancient tree tea refers to woody tea plants that have survived for over a hundred years. Ancient tree clusters are rare and can be found in tea-growing regions such as Banna in Yunnan, Lincang, and Pu'er. According to the standards of some so-called "elite" tea connoisseurs, only tea trees with an age exceeding 300 years can be labeled as "ancient trees.".

1. Ancient tree tea has deep roots and does not require manual watering or fertilization. All the necessary water and nutrients are absorbed by the roots themselves, resulting in relatively higher mineral content in the tea leaves. Therefore, ancient tree tea is considered an environmentally friendly type of tea;

2. The ancient trees have adapted to the local ecological environment and are resistant to various pests and diseases, eliminating the need for pesticides. Compared to other teas, they are more natural and pollution-free.

3. The roots of ancient trees extend deep into the soil, enabling them to absorb nutrients from the subsoil and convert them into nourishing substances. Consequently, ancient tree tea is rich in compounds, resulting in leaves that are more resistant to steeping, possess greater aroma, and deliver a mellow flavor with a lingering aftertaste. Compared to other teas, it requires no fertilization, making it more natural.

4. Ancient tree tea is exclusively found in the six ancient tea mountains and the six new tea mountains regions of Yunnan, with an extremely limited yield and challenging harvesting process. Consequently, its price is significantly higher compared to that of plantation tea.
