Not recommended soaking method that greatly affects the taste - steeping in a teacup.
Take a cup of black tea → pour it into a teacup → pour in boiling water, you will most likely get a sour and astringent cup of black tea.
Is this the brewing method you often use in a hurry? Many times when you are busy with work, it is really convenient to choose this brewing method. Here are two tips to make this brewing method still sweet and fragrant;
① Reduce the amount of tea added
The standard amount of black tea brewed is about 6g, which can be divided into two times. For first-time drinkers, it can even be divided into three times to brew. It is better to have less than more. If you feel it is too light, slowly add it next time to find the concentration that suits your taste best.
② Reduce the temperature of the brewing water
Brew with water at around 85 ℃, open the lid of the boiled water and let it dry for two minutes, or add a little warm water from the water dispenser to neutralize the water temperature before brewing.
For friends with temperature controlled kettles, choosing 85 ℃ is the perfect solution?
The classic brewing method that can best restore the sweetness of red tea is the bowl covering kung fu brewing.
The Kung Fu brewing method is actually similar to brewing with an elegant cup, but with slightly more utensils prepared (such as a lid bowl/small pot, a fair cup, a tea tasting cup, etc.)
Warmer → Tea infusion → Smell → Slowly pour water → Quickly dispense soup → A steaming cup of sweet red tea
Make plans with friends in your free time, sit around and chat, enjoy a cup of fragrant tea, talk about life's affairs, as well as poetry and distant places.
When alone, make yourself a good cup of tea, read a book quietly or daydream;
Watching hot water slowly pour into the lid bowl and the aroma of tea slowly rising, someone like me who used to be unable to sit still can still calm down and let go of fatigue at this moment. I only care about my most genuine thoughts in my heart. This is probably the small blessing of drinking tea as a gift to life.
Key point: When brewing black tea, the water temperature should not be too high, around 85 ℃ is recommended. Excessive water temperature can accelerate the precipitation of bitter substances in black tea, while also damaging refreshing substances such as theanine, leading to an imbalanced taste.
