Brewing black tea with different teaware offers distinct experiences. For beginners, we recommend the following three types:
1. White Porcelain Cover Bowl: The top choice! Its advantages include not absorbing flavors, not affecting the aroma, and most accurately reflecting the original taste of tea. Additionally, it dissipates heat quickly, making it easy to control water temperature, and allows for clear observation of the tea's color and leaf base.
2. Glass cup/kettle: A beauty in its own right! The greatest pleasure lies in watching the tea leaves unfurl and swirl in the water—a "tea dance"—making it particularly suitable for brewing visually stunning teas like Golden Junmei and Yunnan Red Seta.
3. Purple clay teapot: An advanced choice. Purple clay teapots have excellent heat retention, which helps better enhance the aroma and richness of black tea. However, they possess a "memory" effect, absorbing tea flavors, so it's best to use one teapot for a single type of tea.
