There are many types of black tea, and different black teas also have different craftsmanship and taste. So the question is, as far as Yunnan black tea is concerned, how to distinguish wild ancient tree black tea from ordinary black tea? Is there such a thing as new black tea? Is the new tea any good?

What is the difference between wild ancient tree black tea and ordinary Dianhong?

Black tea also has ancient trees. So among common black teas, how to distinguish wild ancient tree black tea from ordinary black tea? Judging from the color, the color of wild ancient tree black tea is black, while the color of Dian black tea is yellowish brown. The most difficult thing is to identify wild ancient tree black tea and sun-dried red tea. This is a bit technical. Both of them are the same color and a little dark. So how to distinguish sun-dried red tea from wild ancient tree black tea?

First: Judging from the strip shape, the strips of wild ancient tree black tea are thinner and shorter, while the strips of sun-dried black tea are thicker and longer.

Second: There will be some impurities in wild ancient tree black tea, that is, there is something like a shell, but there will definitely not be any in the sun-dried tea.

Third: Open the soup. The wild ancient tree black tea tastes very soft and has a rich floral aroma. Because the colloid content in the tea leaves of sun-burned tea is not as good as that of wild ancient tree black tea, the smoothness of drinking it is obviously different from that of wild ancient tree black tea. The aromas are also different when drinking. The sun-dried red tea has a strong green aroma, while the wild ancient tree black tea has a strong floral aroma.

You can judge the difference between wild ancient tree black tea and sun-dried red tea through the above points.

There are also new teas for black tea. Is the new tea good?

Let's take Dian black tea as an example. It can generally be stored for three years, 36 months. Tea drinkers who often drink black tea should have some understanding of new tea and tea that has been stored for a period of time, because there is a difference between new black tea and black tea that has been stored for one or two years. Generally speaking, Dian black tea does not need to be sealed and packaged, unlike Lapsang Souchong and Jin Junmei, which do not need to be sealed. After the Dianhong is stored for one or two years, the aroma will lose a little, but not significantly. But its moistness will increase a lot, because Dian black tea is not famous for its fire aroma, but for the honey aroma or caramel aroma of the tea itself. In terms of technology, the inherent active substances are still retained, so there will be a certain amount of transformation in the later stage.

Is the new tea good?

New tea has some shortcomings. Firstly, the burning aroma is strong, and secondly, the newly produced new tea will be slightly sour, which many people cannot accept. After three months to half a year, the sour taste will naturally fade away, and the fire smell will also dissipate a lot. At this time, it will taste better and be less likely to cause irritation.

Of course, the fragrance of Dian black tea is not as fragrant as Lapsang Souchong and Jinjunmei. The fragrance of Lapsang Souchong and Jinjunmei is mainly the aroma of fire. However, the brewing resistance of Yunnan Dianhong is much better than that of other black teas. This is because the contained substances or active substances in Yunnan Dianhong tea leaves are relatively high, and the fullness of the tea flavor is also higher than that of other teas.
