Black tea belongs to the fully fermented category among the six major tea types. Its name originates from the dark, shiny appearance of the dried tea leaves, as well as the red color of the brewed tea liquor and the leaf base, hence the term "black tea." Unlike green tea, black tea production does not involve high-temperature fixation. Instead, it follows four core processes: withering, rolling, fermentation, and drying. During fermentation, the tea's own enzymes react thoroughly with internal substances such as tea polyphenols and pectin, generating abundant thearubigins. This process ultimately creates the distinctive characteristics of red liquor, red leaves, and a sweet, mellow, and smooth flavor profile.

Fujian Wuyishan Tea Region: As the birthplace of black tea, Wuyishan has an elevation of 1,200-1,500 meters, with misty high mountains, superior ecological environment, and fertile soil, providing ample nutrients for tea tree growth. The resulting tea leaves are rich in internal substances, with dominant aromas of smoked fragrance, honey fragrance, and floral-fruity notes, making it the core production area for Zhengshan Xiaozhong and Jin Junmei.
Anhui South Anhui Tea Region: The core production area is Qimen County, located in a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant mountainous and hilly terrain. The soil is acidic red soil with sufficient fertility. The unique geographical and climatic conditions give rise to the distinctive "Qimen fragrance," making Qimen black tea a representative of high-aroma black teas worldwide and securing its status as the "Queen of Black Tea.".
Southwest Tea Region of Yunnan: The Core Production Area of Dian Hong  Located at the junction of tropical and subtropical zones, this region enjoys ample sunlight, abundant rainfall, and sufficient heat, making it ideal for the growth of Yunnan's large-leaf tea plants. The tea trees here have high polyphenol content, resulting in the strong, fresh, and vibrant flavor of Dian Hong, along with its elevated aroma, creating a distinctive style that sets it apart from other black teas.
