Many people make black tea, but the color of the tea soup is light and the aroma is insufficient, most likely because the water temperature is not well controlled!
The influence of different water temperatures on black tea
1. The optimal water temperature is 90 ℃ -95 ℃: it can fully stimulate the substances contained in tea leaves, resulting in a bright and transparent red tea soup with a rich and high aroma, restoring the original taste of black tea
2. Suitable water temperature of 85 ℃ -90 ℃: The tea soup is bright and clear, with a balanced and soft taste, suitable for tender black tea
3. Water temperature too low below 80 ℃: tea leaves contain substances that are difficult to precipitate, the tea soup is light, the aroma is insufficient, and the flavor is weak
4. Tender black tea (such as Jin Jun Mei and Nen Ya Ying Hong No. 9) can be lowered by about 5 ℃ to avoid scalding the tea buds
5. Coarse aged black tea (such as Lao Zong black tea) can be appropriately raised by about 5 ℃ to help analyze the substance
Water temperature is the key to the color development of tea soup. Only by mastering the appropriate temperature can we brew bright and delicious red tea
