Among the six major tea categories, black tea is the only one that differs, as it is fully fermented. Brewing a delicious cup of black tea is no simple task.
If you pour the brewed black tea into a cold teacup, it will significantly reduce the tea's temperature and also diminish the release of its aroma.
Therefore, when brewing black tea, we should first rinse the teapot and teacups with hot water, then discard the water from the cups after the tea is brewed,Finally, pour in the brewed black tea, and the taste will be at its best at this point.
Choose the brewing method based on the dry tea aroma of black tea.
If you detect a smoky or burnt aroma, first rinse the tea with cold water (discard the rinse water), then brew it directly with boiling water. If you notice floral or fruity notes, simply brew it with boiling water and enjoy.
Note the water temperature: use 100°C for brewing tea and 95°C for brewing soup. For 95°C water, let it cool for about 2 minutes after boiling. Alternatively, pour back and forth between a fair cup four times to achieve the desired temperature.
