Black tea is made by fermenting green tea. Made from suitable tea tree new shoots and leaves as raw materials, refined through typical processes such as withering, rolling (cutting), fermentation, and drying. Due to its dry tea color and the predominantly red color of the brewed tea, it is named black tea.
Oolong tea, also known as green tea or semi fermented tea, is named after the founder of this tea. It combines the production methods of green tea and black tea, and its quality is between that of green tea and black tea. It has both the strong and fresh taste of black tea, as well as the clear and fragrant aroma of green tea, and is known as the "green leaf red border".
Black tea is fermented tea, while oolong tea is semi fermented tea.
