The freshly sprouted buds of Fengqing wild tea trees are harvested, representing a unique variety resulting from the tea plant's natural mutation. After picking, they are naturally sun-dried. The tea plants, having matured through winter, produce plump bud tips in early spring, with approximately 25,000 buds yielding one pound. The leaves exhibit a green hue tinged with reddish-purple, emitting a subtle tea aroma laced with floral nectar notes. Rich and glossy, the brewed tea offers a harmonious, naturally sweet flavor with distinctive wild floral undertones and a honeyed sweetness. The tea liquor is thick and smooth, delivering immediate sweetness followed by a lasting aftertaste.
The sprouting of wild bud-enclosed Pu'er tea differs from that of other teas; instead of curling tender leaves, a white bud emerges, with the tender leaves concealed within the bud and exhibiting a faint purplish-red hue.
Wild bud tea thrives in a pristine ecological environment. For brewing, use 6 grams of tea leaves with 150 milliliters of water, and steep with water around 90 degrees Celsius. Upon opening the tea, its aroma quickly spreads, enveloping the senses like being immersed in a hundred gardens, leaving one utterly enchanted.
The tea liquor is pale green and clear, with a mellow and smooth taste. The tea's nature is silky and refined, featuring deep and distinctive aroma. The wild mountain flavor lingers persistently, delivering a very mild, sweet, and refreshing taste with minimal astringency.
